Waffles
Is the egg white protein absolutely necessary? Very expensive
You can try pea protein or whey isolate. I haven’t used them myself but it is an option.
Sunday breakfast for sure!! I will have to use unflavored protein powder instead of egg white powder, or maybe whipped egg whites!!
Chicory root- what could I sub for that- I have everything else on hand.
Hi Deborah, you can use guar gum, xanthan gum, konjac root.
Thanks! I have guar gum and Xanthan gum so will try those😊
Boy, this made a mess! I bought the same waffle maker that you suggested, Nancy. And the recipe said it makes 1 serving, so I dumped it all in the waffle maker. Overflowing! I’m thinking it would’ve mad 2 of these large waffles (each large waffle has 4 small squares within).
Actually your recipe doesnt say how many waffles it makes. I copied the recipe into a recipe app I use, and it must’ve assumed one waffle since it wasn’t stated anywhere in the recipe. Could you add the quantity or number of servings? And what constitutes a serving, pretty please? It tastes great!
Instead of oat fiber do u think psyllium husk or ground flaxseed might work?
IS ALLUOSE LIQUID OR GRANULATED? CAN I SUBSTITUTE IT WITH SOMETHING ELSE?
I have only seen and used granulated
It is granulated and you can use sweetener of choice. 😊
What brand oat fiber do you use? The one I have makes stuff taste weird
Thank you so much for making recipes using lupin flour! I recently discovered this flour as I am allergic to almond flour and don’t always care for the taste of coconut flour. I was having difficulty finding recipes using the lupin flour so your site was a blessing to find🤗
Please create a good pancake and cinnamon roll recipe. Thanks!
